Organizations are the central concept in Recapp. When you connect an integration — a PSA like HaloPSA or ConnectWise, an RMM like NinjaOne, or an endpoint tool like SentinelOne — it brings in its own list of “companies.” Those companies won’t automatically align with each other across tools, because each integration names clients differently. The Organizations page is where you create your canonical list of clients and draw the connections between each integration’s companies and those clients. Once mapped, Recapp can cross-reference devices, licenses, and billing data per organization across every tool.

Tabs

The By Integration tab groups companies by the integration they come from. This is the best starting point when you are setting up Recapp for the first time, because you can work through each integration one by one and map or ignore every company it contains.Each integration’s section shows which of its companies are already mapped to an organization, and which are still unlinked. You can map a company directly from this view without switching tabs.

How to map an unmapped company

Open the Unmapped tab

Navigate to Organizations and click the Unmapped tab. You will see companies grouped by integration, each with a red badge showing the count.

Find the company to map

Locate the integration company you want to link. You can scroll through the list or use the search if your integration has many companies.

Select or create an organization

Click Map next to the company. In the dialog that appears, either select an existing organization from the dropdown, or choose to create a new one. If you are creating a new organization, enter a canonical name that you will recognize across all tools.

Confirm the mapping

Click Save. The company disappears from the Unmapped tab and appears under the chosen organization in All Mappings. The Unmapped Companies count on the dashboard decreases by one.

How to create a new organization manually

You can create an organization without mapping an integration company at the same time. Click the Add Organization button in the top-right corner of the Organizations page. Enter the organization name and confirm. The new organization appears in the All Mappings tab immediately and is available to select when mapping integration companies later.

Syncing companies

The Sync Companies dropdown button re-fetches the company list from your integrations so that any new clients added in your PSA or RMM appear in Recapp. You can sync all integrations at once, or pick a specific integration from the dropdown to sync only that source. A spinner on the button indicates a sync is in progress. The last sync time for each integration is shown next to its name in the dropdown.
The Unmapped Companies count on the dashboard reflects the number of companies currently in the Unmapped tab. Running a sync may increase this count if new companies have been added to an integration since the last sync.
